Recosnstrucción nose after accident

Reconstructive surgery is focused on repairing the affected tissues by any kind of traumatism.   The longing of the patient who has had an accident or facial trauma, and requires of a nose’s surgery, is to recover the normal functionality and aspect of the nose.

The nose is one of the most constituted in the most outstanding part of face, for which results considerable affected on accidents, especially on car crashes, falls, animal’s bites, labor and home accidents and as consequence of wounds in sport practice.

The nasal traumatisms can lead to complications in the breathing, and very particularly to affect the image of the patient.  During an accident the nose can suffer fractures in different directions, causing the crushing of the nasal pyramid or its deflection towards a side. The reconstruction of nose after an accident needs of a careful clinical examination and radiological analyses of the area, even if there are evident fractures, to evaluate the gravity of the trauma. If there’s fracture; it’s important to proceed as soon as possible because bones join rapidly. In the clinic exam the symmetry and deformities are analyzed. By means of inspection, doctor will be able to demonstrate any type of nasal bone detour or if it’s broken and its relation with molar, dental and maxillary zone
